LM Performance can we get a SSRA GP going?

update...well after writing a strongly worded/convincing email last night, I got this response today
"hi, let me talk with the manufacturer and see what I can work out.

so that's gotta be a good sign. even if they decide not to offer us one or if the price isn't that good I still have hopes for the other 2 distributors. basically, as of now im 99% sure at least one of the 3 places will offer us a gp. as far as a potential price goes I have no idea, but I'm hoping it will be no more than $170 w/ shipping (that reflects a 10% discount from lmperformance's current price). i don't think that is an unreasonable price considering we definately have over 10 people already. it could be as many as 20 by the time it finally goes through.)

Yes, after weeks of convincing lmperformance has decided to offer us a gp. I was told the price would be $175 including shipping. So thats a savings of $14 off their previous price of $189. It's not as great as we'd hoped for but at least they were willing to compromise. I told them to make an official thread on the regular group purchase forum for sponsors only informing us how they would like the order to proceed. Once this happens we can all start buying!

I could have saved a WHOLE fourteen dollars and not have had it on the car for the past two weeks!

No, but I am leaving Monday to drive across country therefore making the purchase any later than I did with all the prep work I had to get done impossible. I guess with that $1 a day you have you can feed three needy kids in third world nations for a month...or get two gallons of gas here.
it appears your hyperbole knows no bounds. go have some more scooby snacks man.

yup, i've been in contact with him also and he said there would be an official post in the sponsor only group purchase section tonight giving details about how exactly they want this to go down. i expect a good turnout on this. it wouldnt surprise me to have 20+ buyers at the end of the 2 week sale.
