just joined up,been following the threads since last season. I was in the blue Cavalier taking pics starting at I71/I76 gathering for the drive down to Columbus. The Z28 needs tranny,so I had to use the Cavalier. It was a great event with a great turnout. I left about 2pm,busy,busy,busy,had to get back.
The 'super summit' event June 12 is back to being a 'super summit'. Last year it was only a super cruise because of all the financial difficulties of the manufacturers/vendors,this year all,supposedly,is back to normal.
Norwalk,now Summit Motorsports Park,has discontinued their regular/normal track rentals.
The NEOCC (NorthEastern Ohio Camaro Club) Fall Classic is Sept.11 & 12 with Sunday 12th. being the more well attended day. ONLY f-bods are permitted into show area. The show is put on by NEOCC and not by Summit.

bob- we have to dominate the massillon show and super summit! those are a definite go! im gonna see about getting a big poster board made for our show display. and we need to figure out a web page soon.

What Bob?! You have been to the show in Berlin, OH? The cindy's dinner one? Crazy that's like a mile from my house.

the only way you can dominate 'super summit' is for everyone in the group to get there early and pick an area to 'group'. I've gotten there as early as 6am to find every spot available and cars started arriving in a steady stream,by 9am chanches of grouping are slim.
The north side,along the building and 'woods' are the popular preffered area because of the shade,the west parking behind the building is full sun and that get filled last.

It seems like the Summit store's "buddies" are able to reserve the same places & awards every year. Maybe I'm mistaken, but, the same large groups of people are usually in the same popular spots. The street side where the parking lot entrances are, usually has car clubs parked in it, then the paved side next to the woods. Our experience has been that the woods fill up last & then overflow to across the street. Maybe Nasty can get an area for us on the 12th?

The street side is typically used by the 'Rock'n'Roll Capital Street Machines' club and high profile exotic hot rods.The grass along the street is used by 'Buckeye Stangs' and 'NorthEastern Ohio Camaro Club' with which whom I park.
If OHIO LSX were to pre-arrange an area,those spots had better be filled by OHIO LSX members early or any unused spots would be confiscated by Summit for other use.

ill do what ever it takes. but when it gets closer to the event ill need a definite car count so i know what i need to try for

how is the cr track day expensive? its only $35.....

from what i understand who ever is renting the track foots the bill. and what they charge for entry is their reimbursement. if ppl dont show it can be pretty costly
