Well I'm finally trading the TA. Should be gone by this weekend if the trade goes through. Picking up an 86 T-Type, runs 10.90's, daily driver, extremely clean. Finally getting into a turbo car. Anyone think I'm crazy? lol

crazy-NO. f-bods AND buick turbos are great

sounds like a fun car to have, id do the same in your situation, i would drive the car first. theres alot greater chance at it not running right. depending on how nice its built, some guys try to get em to run w cheap stuff. without seein it, its hard to tell. post some pics, or a link if you got it.

86 buick regal t-type..new paint job..GM silver with blue interior, Full interior street car, 6pt roll cage, pillar gages, scanmaster computer system, over 15,000 in receipts for motor work, T-66 ball bearing turbo, huge precision frontmount, race suspension, .495 lift roller cam, machined crankshaft, BUILT 4 speed transmission with overdrive, vigilante 3200 stall, upgraded fuel system, full 3in. exhaust,New aluminum radiator, WILL pass inspections! lol 275 M/T drag radials, aluminum weld wheels, skinnys on front. Moser rear end, 3.42 gear. Car is capable of 30+lbs of boost,500+lbs of torque, over 400hp

It went 10.50's w/ a 4000 stall and 10.90's with the 3200 stall. The guy says he drives it everyday and it's very dependable. Guess I'll be finding out soon enough, just have to find time to travel for the trade. I never find shit close or even in the same state, lol.
