The lifter hit the crank and made a small gouge in it, also hit that crank position sensor gear and I think thats why my car kept throwing a code for it. It had great oil pressure when pulled and it spins freely, cylinder walls are fine.

Actually, now that I think about it some more, that gouge on the crank must have come from something else. Because my car had that code for the crank position sensor the whole time I've had it. Pretty sure that gear being messed up even a lil could throw that code.

so last night was a good night for me. as some of you already know, i bought another f-body.

new harwood ram air hood(functions on stock hinges and latch)
brand new race craft front chromoly tubular k member
all new tubular chromoly racecraft a-arms
new qa1 coil over springs, with 12 way qa1 shocks
new bearings thru-out
ford 9" housing
brand new kirkey aluminum seat
new flaming river steering universals
new flaming river pinto rack
quick release stering wheel
also gave me all the original interior(this will be a street car after all)
got the rear wheel and tire setup for the car
15" aluminum welds. 14" wide
31"x14" mt slicks(will be running the 33" tall by 18" wide sportsmans(street))
and i got the rear aluminum wheel tubs with it.


this car will be representing ohiolsx in the near future. motor plans are unknown, car is all setup for motor plates. we just wanna get all the suspension/ wheel setup done. get the cage all painted and finished. we will get everything done but the motor and then decide from there.

My wife talked to Quaker Steak, they are going to Cone off part of their parking lot for us. along with seating in the restaurant for those of us wanting to eat some wings.
