Well my car is down again. Pretty much smoked the supercharger head unit. Idk if it will be at the dyno day. I will still be there either way though. Im sending it to Vortech today to see if it can be fixed.

Matt, how do they get destroyed like that? Is it a heat thing? How's the rear end? Did the vent take care of it?

I have a set of 243 casting heads that came off my 01 z06 for sale. Heads are complete with stock valves and springs. Also have the 01 z06 cam that can go with it. Make an offer. Figured I'd advertise here first since it's somewhat local.

matt did your rear not have a vent? gotta have a vent or you will blow out seals.

kevin- It was because some of the blades got chipped and it was unbalanced. Which in turn ate up the bearings in no time. I just hope it can be fixed cheaply or it may be down for a while. The rear end is back together with a new diff cover and left axle seal. Fully vented of course. But now it still leaks out the seal and and a small bit out the cover and blows it out the vent, its a big mess. I am starting to not like the 8.8 real fast.

shawn- I guess not prior to nelson ledges, but now that it has one it still leaks just the same as it did before if I drove on the street. Its pissin me off lol.
