kevin, it was sorta my fault, but also the bearing manufacturer.
i searched and searched for a set of cam bearings that were tight around the cam like i wanted. finally i found a set that was fine. the problem was, the bearing being smaller, there was less interferance fit to the bore. book calls for .010-.012 interfearance!!! these were more like 6 thou. like i said sorts my fault, sorta not. i was looking for the tightest bearing possible, like i said i love oil pressure. clearance on my cam bearings are like .0012
