my problem with ips is this. back in july, july 18th to be exact i had started talking to them about a engine. they already had the engine setting there. all i wanted was a price for this engine. they screwed me around till probably a month ago and finally gave me a price that was way too high. they would never call me back. i would have to call them every time and when i did they would act like they didnt know who the hell i was. thats bullshit! i probably talked to them 2 to 3 times a week, still the same results. so then i got fed up n told them i was coming there on a saturday with my truck and checkbook to get everything settled, and can you believe it, the screwed me again! as far as im concerned, IPS will never get my business again and any1 i can stear away from there i will!

I think there were some other guys that had the corvettes built in years past that thought they were dragging their feet to run up the labor bill a little bit. Not surprising that they would want to cater to the deep pockets.

Yup .... My Z06 that has been sitting for the last six months is on the road again. Not too long after I bought it, a lifter failed and hurt the cam. Bob (bobsmyuncle) came down yesterday and did the cam swap for a very fair price. Bob did a great job and even found and fixed a couple other problems that the car had.

So ... I wanted to say thanks again to bobsmyuncle here on this forum it was a pleasure meeting you. And to anyone else reading this, if you need work done on your car this is the guy to call. I'm a picky SOB when it comes to my cars and will recommend Bob to anyone needing good work done at a fair price.

well, ran the car today..... not good....but i was on street tires n went 13.165 @ 111.29. spun threw first and second, finally hooked in 3rd. need tires bad!

I remember those days going 13.5@115 haha.

I went 12.43 @ 110.52 on 12 psi. Never got to run 16 psi, because someone broke and oiled the track.

Anyone have a Tech II programmer? I need a crank postion relearn done on my car. Stupid dealer wants a 100 bucks.
