bob- your right thats a nice thread I didnt come across. I have everything he has for sale except the cog drive and the aftercooler with the mod. I talked to rmcr and am going to try the 8 rib first because the cog setup is $1250 bucks. So if I put a 2.5" carbonite coated pulley on the top it will spin the blower to 71000. That should be good enough since its only rated to 65k. I am not sure why that guy only got 520 out of his car that baby should easily be kickin way more than that. Im also looking for a set of high flow fuel rails and some 120# injectors, I will be selling my 71's as soon as I start working on the car again.

That aftercooler wasn't helping him. If ur above 500 wheel, a air to air is a must. If ur above 800wheel, an air to water isn't a must but is the best outfit. Flowing air thru a 9" x 4" core is pretty easy, so flow is at a premium. Lol. And who doesn't want 60* intake temps? More boost on pump gas. More timing. And plain old better, denser air. In my quest for xxxxwhp. Air to water is the only choice I'd take.

Uhm.... Aren't ls6 heads the same as ls1 heads?

ls1 heads - 853's, 241's.... ls6 heads - 243's, 799's. ls6 flow better. dont feel like lookin up the cfm right now

I thought 243 were ls2
