Man last night was a sweet night up in canton. We had a huge cruise of at least 20 cars, and then all the rustang boiz showed up ready to race. haha. lots of horsepower on 77 lol.

What's a recommended stall for a ls1 with a ms3 Cam

stall ? Your 'about you' doesn't mention what gears you have,could be 2.73s' or 3.23s'.
General consensus is about 3500.
Are you planning a gear upgrade in the future ?
2.73s'-3000,you might not like the stall slippage of about 3500 with 2.73s'.
3.23s'-3500/3600.
Future 3.73s'-3500/3600/4000.
AND definitely an additional/suplementary cooler for any situation.
Try to get some rides in 'stalled' cars,best way to find out what you might like.
CircleD and Yank seem to be 2 popular brands.
I just put a Yank SS3600 in mine(with 4.56 gears),had to swap in a good used tranny,broken forward sprag,tranny I took out had a TCI 2800.

3200 stall if u plan on doing any highway driving. My cam is much much bigger than the ms3, and I got a little 2600. Love it to death. Pulls harder than my 3600 did. By far. Seems like the more slip u got, the more power is just being wasted.

Highway driving is OK with any stall as they are 'lock-up'(direct drive)once you're cruising on the highway. A lower stall seems to/does pull harder because of a lower STR(less slippage) and you don't have that annoying 'having to reach/jump to' rated stall rpm(if you don't like that effect).
My lock-up with the SS3600 is no different than the TCI 2800 I had and that was no different than the OEM 1800.
