you don't like the hooker ben? cam that things makes the hooker sound so much better. I love mine now!!

Eric, i do not like the sound and rasp with it, my magnaflow on the truck is more throaty than my hooker, lol. It just doesn't come close to my gmmg when my old car was just a bolt-on.

yeah I know what you mean. I didn't care for mine when I was bolt ons either. but I think it sounds great now. of course it wouldn't compare to a gmmg, lol

go borla, or corsa. nothing else will do.....................

why spend 1k on any of those, just have a reputable exhaust shop build you a system? It can be done for under 500 bucks. Then just buy a single sweet thunder muffler or get a fairly quiet muffler out back and put a cutout in front of it?

sometimes you dont only buy a exhaust system thats cheep. as any of you know, different exhausts sound different. some have rasp, some drone, ect. some ppl dont like some of these sounds. in Bens case, his exhaust has alot of rasp, which he doesnt like. also, some ppl like certain exhaust tips. i like my borla tips, just because i can. lol. anyways. the borla is stainless, which if you didnt know, will not rust. so, buying an exhaust system for some ppl has different meanings. lol, not eveyone has a 900hp car too.

changing just the muffler sometimes doesnt work. sometimes pipe diameter are different, sometimes clamp placement is in the wrong spot.

99% of fbodys r the same, single in, dual out. Almost always 3" and either 2.5 out or 3.

Marts car has a muffler swap, the tail pipes are 2.5 and the mucked is 3". But they can easily slide inside the muffler and b welded

e-cutout ftw. i'd never spend 1000 bucks on a catback. you can buy a whole motor for that much.
