00silvergtp, sounds like a timing chain problem. alot of guys dont check the pump clearance on the double rollers. alot of times the chain will wear thru the pump. dont try and start it untill u figure out whats wrong. no oil pressure will defanitly trash it. another thing to check is the sending unit. they may have busted it or cracked it and not known it. who did the work? i forget where you live, me and cory could take a gander at it and will tell ya whats wrong. let us know. we are here to help!!

Araber- glad you finally got the clutch all done. It's suppose to be nice out tomorrow, take your time breaking it in.
Also, I gave up on buying a rearend for my car, just going to go to Summit tomorrow and buy a new gear and rebuild kit. Any suggestions on what size to go with? I was thinking 4.10's, but my buddy says 4.56's.

bobs I live in amanda, its close to lancaster. a couple of buddies who have done the install many times did it for me. the can started up fine, pressure was fine. drove it 30 min home with no prob. then the gauge goes to 0 when I pull into my drive.

how can I check the pressure manually? to rule out the sending unit.

well guys, im without a fbody for the moment, bills, my woman totalling my truck, and life, had to sell it. if all goes well ill hopefully be getting another one before summers over, but with how it is nowadays no one knows

Got rear-ended today on my way to work >=| Lucky for them, I wasnt in the TA...

I'm thinking about putting some rear-end gears in my car (not right now but maybe by mid summer) anyone have 4.10's in their car now? If it doesn't absolutely rape the highway mileage i'll probably do it haha
