Well Ethan, if all goes right, my rearend will finally be here today. It has 4.10's, my 3.73's just arent enough for me. I don't see 4.10's robbing to much mileage. I'll let you know though.

Ethan- I would say it would be safe to say that 4:10's will increase your 6th gear rpms by at least 500. I have 3:73's and I turn 2k rpms at 80mph. It will also make first gear almost never used under normal driving conditions. just fyi.

Well my rearend went in with no problems. Took me all day to take mine out and put the new one in, but wasn't too bad. Have to say that I love the 4.10 compared to the 3.73's. I still use my 1st gear to take off just fine, also 5th gear is now the cruising gear around town. I only drove it home a couple miles, but tomorrow I'll take it for a real good whooping and see how it does.

Everyone keeps saying I should go 4.10's so that's prob what I'll do... eventually haha. Thanks for the input.

Damn 4.10's are fun. Much harder to get traction, so definately going to have to put a little stickier tire on there. Couldn't sleep last night so went out cruising. First red light I get to I'm sitting next to a Rustang. He stayed next to me while I was spinning tires through first and second, but when I hit third he was no where to be seen. Next light he asks me if I have nitrous. LMAO!!!!!

LOL, He couldn't roll down his window, so he had his door open when he asked me, which I thought that was funny. I told him " No I don't have nitrous, I just put a K&N air filter in my car." lol
Sucks that it's friggin raining today. I went from not wanting to drive my car, to can't wait to drive it. Still not sure what was making all that noise in my old rear end. It had a leaky pinion seal, leaky axle seal, and the gear oil was very sparkly, no magnet on cover. Backlash looked good, and very very little wear on the gears. Maybe bad bearing? Anyone know if they make a full spool for these 10 bolts? I'd like to put a full spool in it with 4.56 gears.

Well it looks like my car is going to be getting its winter stuff done in the next 3 weeks or so. Were rolling my rear fenders to accomindate my big wheels and tires and my different suspension. Front bumper getting resprayed and having the rear done too with the CETA mod. As soon as thats finnished i picked up a new catback (Corsa) and having one of our buddies make me a Y-pipe with a merger at the end to get rid of some of the rasp that i cant stand. So no C-bus with the car but ill be coming down with prob Jason regardless ill be there but no car lol
