Default rear main seal pan on 5.3 chev

I have taken the rear main seal pan off and bought the new seal and the gasket for the rear main seal pan, but not the gasket that seals off between the top of the oil pan to the bottom of the rear main seal pan. Do I have to buy a oil pan gasket set???
Today I ordered the aliment/install tool, hope to get it in a few days.

Thank you for your business, Biker!
You should be able to just apply sealant in the corners where the Rear Main cover and oil pan meet. Then use the AlignIt tool and snug everything down and then install the seal like the video shows.

Ok, but there is no gasket on the top of the oil pan where the bottom of the rear main seal pan mates to the top of the oil pan. Looks like the gasket that comes in a pan gasket set is (just guessing)about 1/64th of a inch thick. I guess enough gasket maker (permatex) would work, just wanting to make sure I won't have any leaks. Thinking about making a gasket to fit.

Sorry for late reply. where the oil pan gasket and the rear main cover gasket meet is where the sealant goes..
