Started tuning this one yesterday. Blue is not quite as vibrant as the corvette but it really comes to life in the direct sun. Far as I know, they are not available from all gm dealers. Typically they are only available through high volume corvette dealers.
Most dealers have not even heard of them.
They should have imported these things years ago. Only drawback is base sticker price is $46k.
Magnetic ride control makes these things handle much better that any factory G8.
Definitely more power than a g8. 3.27 gears and gm did a much better job on the trans calibration. Doing just the basics of tuning really woke this think up.
The only thing that would make this car better is to install a direct injection LT1. I drove it hard and fast and it has it all.

I have a 2015 SS Sedan, No it is NOT an Impala or a Malibu. I get tired of that question.
Mine is blue, automatic, with a EFI Live Tune, Vararam intake, Kooks Long Tube headers and Kooks catted exhaust going into Magnaflow muffs. I took off the overdone bright spoked wheels, too much to clean. I put on 20" KMC 5-spoke district rims (20X8.5 in the front and 20X10.5 in the rear. I also eliminated the factory brake pads, as they dusted heavily when driving. I now have Hawk Performance pads on the Brembo calipers.
It is the blue one that AKNovaman did the tune on. He did GOOD!
Screams like a scared chicken, when you turn it loose.
Oh and note: Mine came with a full sized spare.
