Default Trying to figure out if Holden power steering pump will work on US LS1

I have a 99 Camaro that I have modified a Holden Engine cover to fit on. The hole for the powere steering bothers me, but not too badly.

Does anyone have any idea if that Holden power steering pump and reservoir would fit on a US LS1 and just bolt right up in place?

Thanks

Yes it will all fit.
The LS1 block which Holden use has the same mounting bolt holes as any LS1/LS2/LS6. I assume the bracket and idler pulley kit that Holden use is identical to an F Body kit.
If you do need to buy anything (brackets, belts etc) the easiest for you, and guaranteed to fit, would be 04 or 05 GTO parts.
This is the belt number you will need : GM 92056209 6PK1995 EB

see pic below 05 GTO LS2.....you will end up with same pulley and belt arrangement as this. It uses an Fbody harmonic balancer, LS1 style water pump pulley, GM/Holden power steering pump. The TeenageMutantNinjaTurtle Cover retro-replaces the 2 piece covers seen here.

You RULE

I never thought about the GTO. Like you said, retro replaces.

It may even be possible that the power steering pump is the same, but with a different reservoir.

I guess I need to cozy up next to a GTO with the hood open.

Thanks again.

Sometimes the simplest thing is the one you don't see.
