2004 GTO to get LS6 option!!!!
Read it for yourself under "News and Rumors" at newagegto.com. Bob Lutz announced last week in a speech at Kettering University that the 2004 GTO will get a 360+hp LS1 AND a 405+hp LS6. Can anybody confirm this? If true, we all owe Bob a big smokey-burnout-thanks.

Be patient...I think the new goat is just the beginning of great things to come from the General. It's not like they're coming out with a brand-new platform, so after they test the waters with the goat I'm sure we'll see more Holden variations for other brands.....

Re: 2004 GTO to get LS6 option!!!!
hah , that's funny youre saying bring back the impala ss, cause that is what the gulf spec "GTO" is called and it's been around for a few years now.
the aussi's have had the LS6 option for a while now in one of their models, but i'm not sure what it's called.
if the ls6 in the GTO story is true, i propose a 21 burnout solute to Lutz!!

1dirtyZ you might be thinking about either the Ute or the Commodore SS, both have LS1s but im not sure whether they've got the LS6 option or not. LS6 in the GTO will be kinda cool, but you know what would be better? 427 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
