Woo hoo!!! First question. Is this the place for questions? Second question, Corvette Shootout says .500 sportsman tree and is a heads up class. Is that tree right (third question I guess)?

im glad its an lsx only event!
unlike the lsx shootout, which piggy-backs with the nmca nationals. i went last year to the shootout and wasnt very impressed with way it was organized. they even let local bracket races run. which consisted of junk trucks breaking down every 10 minutes.
anyway, im just sayin im glad there is more than one lsx event now. i cant wait!

I sure hope that the classes for the car show are broken down more once the number of registrants are determined:
Street Rod (pre 49)
Any domestic cars built prior to 1949.
Classic Custom (49-63)
Any domestic cars built between 1949 and 1963.
Muscle Car (64-74)
Any domestic cars built between 1964 and 1974.
Street Machine (75-95)
Any domestic cars built between 1975 and 1995.
Late Model (96-10)
Any domestic cars built between 1996 and present.
Non-domestic
All imports, all years.
Classic Truck (pre 74)
Any domestic trucks built prior to 1974.
Muscle Truck (75-95)
Any domestic trucks built between 1975 and 1995.
Late Model truck (96-10)
Any domestic trucks built between 1996 and present.
Just Because
Any non car/truck vehicle powered by an LS engine.
Under Construction
Any unfinished LS engine based project vehicle.
ALL domestic LS powered cars were built between 96-2010. So every factory LS powered Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, GTO, G8 and so on will be one class??? I am not complaining or worried personally but it does seem like there would be more break out in classes for factory powered LS cars.

4th gen cars are over rated. i'm more about the 1st and second gen ls powered. is this only going to be about the cars that came with an ls. if so i wont come...

I guess we need to drive over to see how it's effecting the schedule? I don't feel they can safely hold the drag racing events in this type of weather, nor the other competition events if there is lightning.
Car is loaded with race tires, now I need some place to move them LOL
