Getting close, free bump. I just stumbled on the LSFest website today. Debating on making this trek...
So my street tires are <200 rating, so I figure I might as well bring the DOT race tires. But the rules verbiage seems to indicate you can't change tires between events... I would want to use the same sets of tires for the competition events, but the street tires for the cruise, driving around town, etc. If I can't make use of both sets of tires then I'm not interested.
Any secure, insured storage for long haulers or would I have to bring a trailer or find another alternative?

I am really considering on going, I am not sure that my car will fit into any class. I feel like everyone is against a prostreet car. O' well I still love the look. I have both of my engines up for sale and if I sell one of them I am going to buy a LSX 454 and carb. it. It sounds like alot of fun. Is the park open(for my kids and wife)? thanks JC

You can leave trailers at the track, they will have security there. Whenever leaving stuff at the track, a mix of common sense and OCD will be the best ticket.
