Default Is everyone else working hard on the last min things?

I know I am. I have been in the shop every night this week til 9PM getting the car ready.
I had some minor paint work to do. I polished my wheels with the power ball. I made a set of travel limiters for the front end. Filled all my nitrous bottles.

Today I am going to buff and wax the car and clean the interior. We are also finishing up the A/C unit on the trailer, yeah baby. It was hot hell on the first year(2010). I also picked up a nice alm air dam for the radiator. I need it for the 30 mile drive.

I'm almost there.... I'm getting geeked.

You bitches better be ready!

going to make this race and mostly likely call it a year. Didnt get to make the first race for points, and just dont have the performance to compete. Maybe just call it a year and get the car ready for the next season, freaking crazy to be thinking about that already, but with my budget all the money saved now can make it just that much better for next year.

BUT I just got a new converter for my car, going to put it in this weekend(working 12 hr shifts at work also) hope that helps with some of my problems I been having and Make a damn good show for LSfest.

I am taking the day off today and going to the Nats with my brother. And it is my Birthday, so I will be GTFD on some beer and watching fuel cars go 300 mph.

Enjoy your day at work suckers!

actually I worked on the car today, changing out the coverter and I think my old converter is broken, maybe thats why I had bad tire shake last time out on the 8.5's, pretty excited to get this new converter in there and try it out! I think its really been holding me back for some time now!

actually, I have had several problems, 1 being the converter getting so hott it started to blister the paint off it, then my fluid got burnt and from then it wouldnt really come up on the converter right. I really hope this helps the problems I been fighting, being a stick shift guy I thought it was something in the driveline or suspension settings, then after talking to some people they told me converter. anyways, so yes always doing last min things to get ready!!

Yup, been thrashing to get the 9" installed. Broke the 8.5 at last years event and been busy since then with customers cars and finally last week told customers I can't do anymore until after this race and took a vacation next week just make sure I have time to complete everything. I think I got the last piece to the puzzle today (driveshaft) now its time to assemble everything plumb the brake lines and take it for drive!

I know of two big parts stores that can have it to you in no more than two days. Get on line and order a new one.

We are rolling out Thursday night. But I wanted one more test day so I am going out Wed night to try out a few things at one of our local tracks.

I also got the A/C bolted to the roof of the trailer and Mon I will finish up the inside panel and get it wired with a plug that goes to my generator. I need one of the clear pvc curtain's for the back door. That would be sweet.
