Sympathies to JRRacing
We let it cool, changed the plugs and put fresh water in the radiator. I went and drove it around a bit and it seamed fine.
So we went up to make a pass and the temp started to creep up a little at the burn out box. It was not crazy high so I let'r rip. It was on its way to a low 9 sec pass when all hell broke loose.
On the small bright side, I own a body shop and can fix this for very little money but lots of time. About 60+ hours to fix all of it and get it in paint.
I hope to have this fixed by the shootout.

LS Fest hasn't been very good to me either, I blew up my car first pass on motor with no spray. Still had a fun weekend
I think the motor is ok. I'm going to do a comp check and a leak down to see if a head gasket is blown.
My dad thinks its from another car. I would hate to think it was someone else s fault. But the lady at the end of the track said a car left a puddle at the time slip booth and another car over heated on the return road right before me. So it is entirely possible that someone else could be at the cause of the water.
My buddy said a guy went right before me in that lane and had no problem.
So I'm gonna chalk it up as my car was at fault. Because I really don't know for sure. And do not want to put the blame on anyone else.
I can tell you that I've had that car on several tracks with dew on them at night and was a skating rink at 130+ mph and have save it many many of times. There was no saving this one. It snapped around to quick.
You think you might have it done before Indy? Hope to see you there
yeah I Was coming around the return road headed to the ticket booth when they all went running to the ambulance. Glad to see your ok. Car can always be fixed
