theres always people tent camping and motor home camping on the backside of the track near the river some im pretty sure arent even racing lol. me and badazzt/a usually set up just on the other side of the fence on the campground side and throw down each night with beerpong cornhole grillin and shine with several people. last year we even made a tournament trophy. but if you want to stay at the track my advice to you is dont ask. just pull in and setup in the back near the fence and usually you are good. were locals so we always go to the campground for water electricity etc...

A bunch of us from Boosted LSX on Facebook are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, which is right down the street from the host hotel. We reserved a few rooms for $99/night. Should be a good time. I'm going to roll in sometime Thursday night, and leave either Sunday night or Monday morning.

Most of us from the "corvette forum" are staying at the Drury as usual. Nice rooms, good prices, and a pretty good spread of free food!

I will be at the Drury Inn with a decent size group of guys from Chicago. Just booked last night and was able to get a double room. Going up at the *** crack of dawn on Saturday.

I usually stay at the hilton garden inn. Seems the price went from $90/night last year to $130/night but it's 3x points so I'll be staying there most likely. Nice amount of parking and If it's the same host hotel as last year we are right across the street of the host hotel.

Well, then you don't know a lot of people, considering I know of about 30+ people staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

I don't think you will have any problems finding people to hang with at any hotel.
