You better check your map .... Memphis is a long way to go from Chattanooga
for a phuchin burger ya saw on the food channel ... those places you see on those shows pay to get on there ... it just another way to advertise their sheeeiot......just a FYI for ya...if your going to Memphis to eat something it better be Bar B Q ... that is what the city is known for...there are a bunch of killer Bar B Q joints in Memphis .. If you are going to take a trip to Memphis you might want to consider attending "MEMPHIS IN MAY" that is the national championship Bar B Q cookoff .... I get hungry just thinking about it ... nuff said

FireHawk, Memphis is a haul from Chattanooga. I grew up there so I could show you a good Tn. burger. Chattanooga is a great place to hangout with a nice downtown night life. Once again, I can't freakin' wait and it's all a part of the coolest car-guy thing you can do. I'll be coming from Texas for the Long Haul!

maybe we should start a list of good food places for each stop? the locals for each stop could point us in the right direction

A key part of a Memphis trip for me includes a trip to Charlie Vergo's Rendezvous for ribs. mmmmmmm and it's only a few blocks from Beale Street.
