Hahah oh boy. im soo stoked for this, there aint a day that dont go by it dont cross my mind. Im bustin *** on my car and wallet to get this thing ready! I hope its gonna be worth it all

You really want traffic to suck worse than usual? HRPT has been to Detroit area too much 2009-near warren at lake Saint Clair and 2001? in Pontiac Guess GM is scared to go to far from home? Really wish they would go to the west coast been too long. Anyway I'll be going next year. Detroit might of put the world on wheels but the roads do suck and I hope we are not in the city!-the city w/o police
The West coast...really? The West coast already gets far too much automotive attention as 90% of television based car shows are filmed on the West coast. Further, the cops out West are the most **** of any in the Country. I hope that the tour never visits the **** state of California. Michigan is a great automotive event destination. Although, Texas self appoints itself as having the most bad-*** cars in the Country ("Our state will kick your state's ***"), the Michigan/Ohio area is the true home of the best.

I cant wait to long haul again this year, lucky number 3 for the long haul and 5th year of going, looks like a fun route. i accually am really excited to hit the tail of the dragon on the way to Florida.

I can't wait to do the PT..not looking forward to the fuel bill though..LOL
be careful in Detroit..I don't know how it is now..maybe a local can fill us in..but..
last 2 times I was at Woodward..5 years ago..the cops were absolute ******..
ticketing guys all over the place..and they impound your car for racing or assumed racing..
it's a shame..before that..the cops were doing burnouts..
buddy had a wreckless driving charge..was on his record for a while..
I'll be there..just a little more conservative than normal..

Just pre-registered and put in vacation time at work. My dad and I have been wanting to go for years, and its finally happening. We'll be in "Project Black Sheep", my '98 Vette.

Just got everything setup with the hotels today! Still got some things left to finish on my car for the tour (TSP LT's, ORY, new wheels and tires

i'm trying to go...long haul or nothing....i put in my vacation at work today. i'm hoping the 454 does a little better on fuel by then than it is now

We're coming down from the Lake Superior area to Indy and doing the rest of the tour from there. One of the guys (probably more than just him) '70 Chevelle only gets 13mpg on the highway...So I'm sure your 454 isn't that bad haha.

Me and my hubby will be doing 5th PT, have done 2 long hauls but not this year. Will just go to Nashville and Indy in our 70 Camaro! Couldnt stay away, its so addictive! 2 stops are better than none! See ya on the road!

looks like i'm officially in...the old lady is so excited she said that if we can't afford to go, she's gonna take out a loan 
as luck would have it, i got a field job in West Palm, FL this weekend...not a huge deal, but i'll earn my gas money for the PT
