We booked hotels as soon as venues were announced at the stops in AR. We r 2-3 miles from the venues in Texarkana, little rock and Memphis. I gotta get to working on this truck!! So many little things to complete!! See y'all out there.

Argh! Another year where the Hot Rod Power Tour will not even entertain coming out west.
I want to do this but with my family, work schedule and distance just to get to where the tour starts, much less the entire tour, I don't have enough time.
So is HRPT going to come out west at all? I mean, who wouldn't want to come to Las Vegas?

Looks like a little group of us from Oklahoma will be making it out for the Arlington and Texarkana stops. I can't long haul and looks like a group of us will make a dash back to OKC after dinner in Texarkana. Will be a fun weekend though!
I wish my '49 5 window pickup was driveable but it's in body shop prison so I'll be bringing the blue car in my sig instead.

Hey guys does anyone know how the tour will be traveling from Bham to Chat? I live in Huntsville, AL, and the 6th woulda been my dads 51st bday and im gonna try to meet up somewhere so that would be an awesome remembrance thing for me and my wife to do. Ive been to two or three the past few years, so this will be great being so close. PM me if anyone knows the route officially yet please? Thanks guys! Good luck on the tour!

Official route not yet announced, should be pretty soon tho. Check over at www.hotrod.com, under Power Tour Forum. They "usually" post it about 2 weeks before the Tour so thats coming up this weekend

This is cool. When the tour gets to Memphis, it takes kind of a long way around to get to the race track in Millington and in doing this, it goes down hwy Tn-14 which I can see from my back yard. If all goes well, I will be doing the long haul and still on route.

It sucks because there's a ton of badass machinery on the west coast that never gets a chance to be seen, and won't until they decide to come back.

It'll be down to the wire for us. Tried making the long haul last year, and still on the build. Some older pics but its coming along... Black Cherry 65' Continental, 521BBF, PATC 4L80, 9", etc.

Its in our back yard we are in for a short haul. Hoping to join up with some more of you Ls1techies for a big group rolling the first leg. Several folks from PT scene are suppose to be attending as well.
