First night in arlington our hotel was just outside in grand prarie and as we pulled into the hotel and stopped went to move the car and the starter broke. The firestone next door let us borrow a jack to swap the starter the next morning and asked for their lot to be signed lol brother was happy to oblige

we stayed with some fellow touring friends this year and there were never many cars where we stayed will have to stay closer next year

Just made it back to Huntsville. Had a damn blast. Cant wait till next year. Hope everyone had fun and made it home safely with no issues.

Somehow I was able to make it to Texas and back. 3700 miles in all . transmission overheating, fixed- rear stabilizer snapped? and removed, a c crapped out but fixed on road- wipers failed ( in storm of course ) fixed . motor is burning oil , I think its the valve seals. Hot Rod did an interview and some pics and video with me . We'll see where it ends up ? Had a ton of fun but I am exhausted. JOHN

Any mention of where it's going to be next year? Hope it's somewhere new so I can go again, haven't been in a couple of years because they keep going to the same places.

I doubt that you will see it go up the east coast to Maine. Way to congested and venues are hard to find. They like to stay in the midwest. It a whole lot easier to manage for Family Events and the vendors. Anyway it is not where you go it is the trip that makes the Power Tour what it is. Next year will be 11 years in a row for me. I dont care where it goes. All I know is that I'm going to be there. You get to see lots of great cars and meet the best people you will ever find. Tour till it hurts!!!!...

Its already confirmed Charlotte (Concord) to Wisconsin Dells, WI.

One stop will be Charleston WV, the others are unknown.

Indy again would be great. Elkhart Lake (Road America), would be fun but not enough hotel rooms...I remember the Indy Car weekends...

Im going one way or another... Maxed out credit crads or whatever it takes... The car will be back together... Im a long hauler from 09 & 10 and the car has been apart since may of 11... Soo im in for sure and will be a long haul gang member yet again... Cant wait to see some old friends and enjoy next summer with all of you...
