I'm taking my twin turbo 05 GTO, already registered, hotels, and flights booked.
If you're going to go better get the hotels booked. Most the ones on the approved list are sold out already and several alternates are selling out too.

I've been to some big f-body events and caravaned with 20-30+ cars. That wasn't to bed. Just a little work keeping everyone together and not getting them lost. For the guys that have been on the Power Tour, would you consider it hectic, crazy, relaxed, fun ect... ? It has to be fun but I'm picturing hundreds or maybe over a thousand vehicles going in and out of places at the same time.
If I go I'll either be driving my C6 or SRT-8.

something that i didnt have last year that im gonna try to get for this year is a portable navigation unit...we got caught in some traffic last year due to road construction and what not...a navi would come in handy to get you around all that crap.

Ive been signed up for a couple months and have all the hotels booked. Ive started a post on thirdgen.org for ppl coming from the northeast, I want to get a group together for the cruise down. as of right now I def have 4 cars leaving from albany, with 3 or 4 more meeting in either NJ or PA. As we get closer we should put together a contact list of everyone going. it would be nice to have 20 cars for the cruise down!

Well, an update for me...
My wife decided that 2600 miles was just too much time to spend in my car, so my Dad is actually interested in going. I'll know this weekend for sure if we'll be doing the tour.
If so, we'll probably leave on the 1st of June and stop over night somewhere in Virginia area, then Friday make the trip down to Florida to start the tour.

If you are interested, Walt(White C6,Wallingford) and myself(Black C6,Lancaster County) are leaving the morning of 6/1. We will probably drive to Charlotte,NC or beyond to stay overnight. We should arrive in Kissimmee sometime in the early afternoon of 6/2. We are going down route 81, so we don't have to worry about Baltimore, Washington DC or Richmond. We are meeting in Carlisle and then take route 81S. Time from Carlisle to Charlotte is about 7 hours and then 8 hours to Kissimmee. If you are interesred, send me an email.
