Just a heads up, you will need to wash it in Kissimmee. My car was filthy after 1k miles last year to Milwaukee.

You should be able to postpone it at least 30 days. That info is on there somewhere.

You have a trip planned/pay for so you won't be around. I usually receive the jury duty card every few years. I call in the night before and am told that I'm not needed anyway.

Some how much detailing do you guys do each day? I usually just goto the local car shows. The ones where you clean it up good before you leave and then just hang out. I'm going to be driving about 1400 miles to FL and then we have about 150-250 miles each day. I'm going to be killing alot of bugs on the trip!

You will need to wash it in Kissimee. Then if there is no rain, should be able to wipe it down with detail spray daily.

i usually wash and wax before leaving home, then if possible wash at the first location. some mothers bug and tar wipes are a necessity. i use those and a spray bottle for the bugs. by the end, all the cars are a bit dirty.

i hope they get out of the east. although it will mean farther for me to drive, i want to try a midwest or northwest route. if it goes from Jersey west, i probably won't go.

Yeah, I quickly realized that no matter how clean I get the car, it's going to be a mess after a day or two of driving. I'll bring the clay bar and instant detailer along with some micro fiber towels and call it a day with that.

I claybar mine the week before. Doubt you will need to clay it while on the road, but better safe than sorry.

Well, the claybar is really good at removing stubborn bug guts smashed on the front of the car and windshield. I claybar my car pretty regularly to keep it contaminant free.

I should be at the Gainesville stop, and may spend some time with the SSBC guys.
The Nova should be an easy pick-out!

Nope, the OCCC is NE, near I4 & 528. About 15 miles away.
