Hello from VA...

Hello all!

I've been lurking on here for awhile, finally got around to registering. I'm Dane, from Appomattox VA. I work in Lynchburg, VA as a professional firefighter. I've been around F-Bodies for a long time (my dad has a WS-6 and one of my best friends has an LT-1 T/A and a 98 Z28) but I bought my first just last July. It's an '02 NBM Formula A4. When I bought it there was only 24,500 on the clock. I'm slowly starting to mod, but I just have a few basics taken care of so far.

SLP Lid
SLP LM1
P/P MAF
rear from a WS-6 with 3.42 ZT going in next week. Not a fan of the 2.73's.

Glad to finally be a member here, and looking forward to gleaning a lot of knowledge...and maybe even helping out sometimes!

Welcome man, i'm from northern VA up in Centreville area. This is a great site, there is a big F-body scene in VA.

Yeah, I'm always down to meet...I'll definitely have to check out those forums.

And about the firefighting job market here...it's pretty bleak. We may be facing a station closure, which has been a very RARE occurance in the history of our department. If we end up losing firefighter positions, it would be the first time EVER in our history, 126 years. I guess the recession is affecting everyone.

That sucks man, I might have to re-enlist instead of going civilian. Seems like a lot of departments are doing cut backs

welcome to another VA member. I'm just below Lynchburg. i worked for Nesbe cable for awhile (now jet broadband) in the Apomattox/ pamplim/rustburg areas. seems pretty much dead down there. i cruise Lynchburg some in the summer time theres a few members on here from Lynchburg. good luck on the modding
