Default New here, Subaru owner... be gentle

Hey Guys,

Just want to re-connect with my roots and learn more about LS1's. Hopefully I'll be able to get one in the next year or so.

I currently own an 06 sti which I love. I got into cars with american V8's and have owned a few:

78 T/A
86 Z28
88 IROC
88 Mustang GT
87 Mustang GT

Thanks

Welcome, nice ride. Variety is the spice of life. Love my Camaro but I too prefer my turbo AWD for quick & nimble daily driving.

Hope that was gentle enough.

Welcome, man. Clean Subie you've got there. I've definitely considered having one as a daily. That boxer sound is by far the best 4 cyl sound out there.

Nice suby! I'd be proud to daily one... hell, if I didn't have the T/A I'd happily race one. Give me a good reason to tear up some back roads!

I like it without the rear spoiler, but have you thought of taking off the small (out of place) roof spoiler? I think that would finish of the awesome flow of that car. Just a thought!

Thanks for all the comments guys! The more I look at this site, the more I'd like an LSX... just need to get the funds in order!

It definitely would look cleaner and I was planning on taking it off, but it has grown on me so I'll probably keep it... and it confuses people when they see the car from the rear. I am also contemplating removing the sti stickers from the front as well. The less attention from police and "honda racers" the better!

Thanks again guys

I like that you ditched the spoiler. I knew a guy that had one of those and it sold me on turbo chargers, a year and a half later I bought a turbo for my z28. Those AWD wrx/sti pull pretty hard with a good driver
