New Member from Columbia, Missouri
Hello all. My name is Brandon and I live in Columbia Missouri. I currently do not have an LS1 in my garage, but I plan on putting one in there in the near future. My daily driver is a 2006 Subaru WRX. My project car is a 1981 Mazda RX-7 - the future recipient of an LS1 shoehorn swap. I am new to Domestic cars, but I am not new to car forums or getting my hands dirty with a wrench.
The goal for my project car is to get the sucker as close to 2000lbs and having about 350whp all motor, then giving it the bottle. I want 10s in the quarter. I understand that the easiest way to get that is to go with an LS1 motor, possibly a cam, headers, intake, and I want to run a T56 tranny.
Anyone have any advice for me at this point, knowing what I want?
I will do a search, but I keep seeing things such as "lids"...what are those?
Thanks all,
Brandon
