i was tired of not knowing what was going on with my gen IV 98 v6 3800 SII (high idle at running temp). needless to say i didn't have the background to figure it out until i decided to get smart and learn a few basics about my car, such as engine model and make, (duh?). so them i Google "LS1" and here i am,
thanking everyone for their contributions to this site.

i just saved a lot of money by cleaning my MAF sensor. it was causing me problems for a long time, and i even asked everyone i personally knew for their advice. finally, i searched this site for the same problem and found a posting that described the exact idling problem and even paid to have the same "recommended" work, with no correction. then from reply's to the post, i knew it was worth the $6 for the MAF sensor cleaner. it worked! I'm so happy you guys are out there! i look forward to learning more from you guys!
