Noob from nor cal Hi everyone, this is my first post. Im 21, a college student outside of sacramento going into mechanical engineering. Right now Im building my first project, a 1959 chevy stepside. I basically have no income so my build is very slooowww. lol I picked up a 5.3 off of craiglist that I have mounted in the frame that is currently attached to a th-400 from the junkyard. All of the parts I have bought so far have been from craigslist and pick n pull.
rear end-junkyard 98 explorer 8.8
engine-craigs 5.3 w/ programmed computer
tranny- junkyard th-400
front suspension- junkyard 76 camaro
radiator-craigs- ws6 ls1
fuel pump- craigs 2000 ls1
fuel tank-made my own .125 aluminum
4 link suspension- making my own
etc.....
So get ready for alot of noob questions! Im not very familiar with how the fuel system and electric part of the build will work so this is where i hope this site will help.
