2002 SOM Formula owner..... I've have always loved the 4th Gen F-Body's, but up until about a year ago I could never seem to find the one I wanted. Then I stumbled across the color I had been looking for....SOM.
I had always wanted a bone stock, 6spd, ebony interior, SOM Formula with t-tops, and low and behold I finally found exactly what I was looking for. Only 51 where made in SOM with ebony interior and 6spd for that year, so I would say I was lucky enough to find this one. Doesn't make the car worth anymore, just means a lot to me to have what I set out for. It is also a fully optioned car with 3:42's, TC and the CD changer to boot. My good friend also has a 2001 SOM Formula in the exact same configuration and it is all because of him that I searched for as long as I did without giving in.
