Hi!, im new to the forum, but i was thinking that i might have a problem and have no clue what is wrong, i have a 1994 z28 and when im at a red light/stop sign and press the gas all the way down, the car does like a big "clunk" sound beneath the armrest,I really dont know what it is HELP me...............

 

Transmission mount is broke!! Better by stock in those things. They go out like crazy in LT1 cars for some reason.

 

Welcome to the board! Where exactly in STL are you from? Im out in St Peters.

You're problem is most likely a tranny mount. My friend has a 95 z28 and his did the same thing. he **** himself when he first heard it.

Make sure you read the stickies and search any topic you have a question on, like "what is the best...." because this site has sooo much information, chances are its been answered 100x already.

we checked the tranny mount and it was fine any thing else?
