I'm spending about 6-7k total in labor and parts for the swap minus whatever cash I can get for selling the old parts, but in the long run I'll save hundreds off insurance cause it will still be technically a base v6 Camaro and not a sporty Z28 with it's factory equipped Hi-Performance V8

I've spent close to 8 months saving and I have close to 6k saved plus a clean credit score with a current 3k limit on my credit card an my bank can lend me up to 7 or 8k I can't remember exactly so I have my ways of paying it. Also make all your plans and try to find out what you need for the swap and check to see if there are any ways you can safely cut back in the costs by buying used parts.
