Another NewB from Sooner land (Okla)!!! LS1 Swap into 1970 Chevelle SS Whats up??? Hi all. NewB from Oklahoma here. I just picked up an LS1 out of a 98 Camaro SS. It is the complete engine - the harness and computer. I am looking for info on getting this fine late model engine into my 1970 Chevelle SS. Let me give you a quick run down on my ride. I know, I know, its not a Camaro or GTO....
70 Chevelle SS 454 4 Speed car...Yes it is a real SS!
M21 Close ratio 4 Speed manual.
GM 12 bolt rear with Richmond 4.10 ring and pinion, Moroso Brute Posi unit.
BRAND NEW TUX BLACK WITH SILVER FROST STRIPES!!! yeah baby!
Anyway, I have the car completely stripped down from getting it painted. I am now starting fresh with modern HP... (98 Camaro SS LS1.) Now, what next????? Thanks and I look forward to jumping into this with you guys!
