New guy from Northern California
Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new here, & new to LS motors. Well, I have been around them for a while now, but this is my 1st time owning one. I must say, I am VERY impressed!!! Please don't knock me, but I come from the Mustang world, & which I have owned five stangs which include a 91 LX, 95 GT, 96 GT, 97 Cobra, & an 03 Mach 1. The Mach was my nicest, & it had full tubular suspension, full exhaust, & ran a best of 12.73 @107 with a 1.68 sixty ft. I recently just sold my Mach 1 to get into something more comfy, & I still own my 91 LX coupe.
Anyhow, I just took ownership of my dream ride. Its a 2005 Light Platinum CTS-V. I purchased it from a buddy whom was the original owner, it has 51k miles, & its in immaculate shape. He already did all the tasteful mods, so I'm just gonna enjoy the car & drive it.
The mods include a Flowtech street sweeper cam (228/232 duration. 111 LSA, 612 intake/600 exhaust), Full B&B exhaust from the 1 3/4 longtubes to the 3" x pipe & catback, electric cutouts, eibach springs, QA1 adjustable shocks/struts, 3rd gen diff upgrade, Hendrix anti hop axle, Spectre Works cradle bushings, custom poly motor mounts, LS7 clutch, uuc shifter, & tuned by Newtech Performance. For a 3,800+ Lb car, man this thing scoots, & rides smoothly in the process LOL... Im in love for sure....
Here are a few pics & a soundclip...
