Thats what I am leaning more towards what paint did you end up using? Duplicolor in primer and paint is what I was thinking.

I just painted mine with the flat black bumper paint, no primer, a few coats so that it will last for a long time. I just sanded it down, and laid a few coats and left it like that.

UPDATE****

Upon inspection I have hooker super competition headers, and a 3 inch exhaust running down to the muffler. The headers are a bit rusty though :O I guess thats what happens when you live in the Florida humidity.
