new from afgh (deployed)

hey ive been reading you blog while looking for a f body and have found one and was wondering the input of a 94 formula stock w 75k. i know this isnt the post but i figured id throw this out there before i go out on patrol. any help would be much appreciated.

nothing wrong with it. The opti-ignition systems in those cars can be a little temperamental and are a pain to replace. Why not look around for an ls1 98-up car they make more power, get a little better fuel mileage and depending on who you ask look better. It's up to you but you can find a lower mileage ls1 fbody pretty reasonable nowadays/

You can find ls1's pretty cheap nowadays. But, speaking from personal experience (and I'm gonna say this at the risk of getting flamed up), I'd stick with the lt1. Yeah the ls1 makes more power, better mileage, and SOME think it looks better. But from my experiences, lt1's last much longer and can take more abuse. I've had 2. I have lots of friends with ls1's none of which have taken the abuse like my lt1s and my buddies lt1's have. But to each his own. And take care in Afghan man. Ill be there soon.
