im a college student on a budget thinking of rebuilding my whole engine to try to get max hp suggestions guys?

 

not sure if there is a budget build on a LT1 lol. if you are going to rebuild the motor you might as well do it right the first time, used forged internals and stroke it out to a 383, you can go budget on the heads with LT4 heads but you wont see much gaines I would go aftermarket with TF or AFR but there expensive.

About the only CHEEP way I could see rebuilding the engine is do a stockish rebuild, keep the crank and rods and get you some forged pistions that will incrase compression, Lt4 heads and good cam

what kind of price range you looking to stay in? theres alot of guys who can help you out but it helps to know what your budget is
