New guy needs info! Greetings from the frozen north. Newbie from Canada here. In the process of building a third gen nova. I have a big block sitting on the stand, but I know I really want an LS motor-so here we go. So far found a LQ9 6.0 for $2700, and a 5.3 for $800. I need to open a beer and start reading the forums. Let the adventure begin, and Hey-thanks for having me.
Frozen North Welcome to LS1Tech. So is the LS going into a Nova or Acadia? Check the forum you will find an awesome number of Nova builds to get ideas and learn from! Also might want to check out Steve's Nova Site, there are a ton of Nova guys there (DUH). And a whole forum just for LS swaps. Plus a great classifieds section for Nova related parts. At least you have a few months to complete the swap. Hope you have a heated garage, good luck!
