That's all going to have to wait now since my car failed emissions due to a bad catalytic converter. I guess it's going to cost me $1000 for the part and the labor which is bs!! I don't know what to even do now. They don't make it fair at all and I guess I wont be able to get a waiver even though it'll cost over the $450 limit because a faulty catalytic converter can't be one of the issues to be covered for a waiver. How stupid!?

She is serious about modding her car and should be respected as such on the forum.

Search the facts on the TSB from GM on the catalytic converter coverage.
You may get a local GM dealer to fix them for free.
GM issued a letter to owners stating that they would cover them up to 100K or something, ..., I'll have to go find it now.
And, Welcome a'board', ...,

Edit: Here, take this info to your local GM dealer & see if they'll work with ya.
(The 10year thing may hurt ya, but ya never know until you go talk to them. If they bail on ya, ask if they'll go half & split it with ya.)

Lol 98% of you guys are thousands of miles away. Even if I just find guy friends that are into what I'm into. That would be nice!! All I see is guys that are into import cars that look like they won them out of a cereal box and sound like a vacuum cleaner. I prefer muscle... With the all famous intro thread name "a car with *****".
