I've been running a Corsa with LTs, ORY, and open cutout for about 4 months. Got a ticket last week for excessive noise. The cop was baffled when he saw I actually had a muffler. It sounded great, but was a little loud for my small town popo. I closed the cutout and will probably open it back up in a couple weeks.

The sound of a good exhaust at high volume never gets old in these cars, until you have to pay the city to have it.

Thank you!... Yes, after I change the flowmaster exhaust(which I can't stand, it has no *****). Not sure what exhaust I want yet. Maybe borla exhaust... I plan on getting headers and getting it cammed. So far that's on the list. I'm up for more suggestions. I wanna eat everything on the street.

I HATE imports and I HATE POS stangs. I can't stand them. Every time I pass by a mustang, I make a disgusting look and say eww, disgusting!! Lol at clean car... I just got it a few days ago. Don't worry, work will come to it soon.

I agree with leaving it a hardtop, unless what you're into is cruising around and having people look at your hair waving in the breeze, hardtop is better for the track.
Eh, if the auto is tuned I think it'll win. It's funny cause the guy with the supercharged pony that I smoked yesterday, he tells me after we raced when he pulled up next to me. He tells me, "but it's an automatic" and I said yea so is mine, STOCK. Just the B4C and flowmaster exhaust. He was like "really?" in shock... "It's fast"... Goodness I can't wait till I get everything I want done to it.

WELCOME TO LS1TECH. far as your exhaust goes you could do the borla cutout exhaust setup.u can quiet her down or make her scream.and of course good set of headers.and if u want u can get ls6 intake and nice mild cam.and a good TUNE.

Lol I just got her a few days ago. Yes she needs work done to her to be up to par with a lot of your cars BUT all I know is I'm a proud LS1 owner that smokes mustangs and all I have is the B4C and bs exhaust. Before I had my Z I used to drive my brothers Z and smoke Stangs in it all day.

Are you putting on the exhaust by your self?

Wow, I doubt I'll have that problem here. My cousin always comes by with a vette that has some good stuff done to it. It's ridiculously loud, fast, and a fun ride. We don't get complaints. Not to mention, my brother has a Z. If I do get some sort of ticket. I'll be proud because then I know I made the right decision lol

No, I know some guys that will do it for cheap and they're pretty good. They know Camaros inside and out.

Haha....you think it's ball-less because your Flowmaster is probably an 80-series crossflow with stock cats and manifolds. If you heard a car with headers, no cats, and true duals with Flowmaster 10-series, 40-series or Super 44, you would not say that.

The SBC in my Nova has only a baby cam and stock compression, but with LT headers and true duals with Flowmaster 40-series mufflers, it sounds about 5 times louder than a stock LS1 with manifolds/cats and an 80-series muffler.

Well yea I know that which is why I want a better exhaust that'll sound meaner along with everything else i'm having done to it. Either gmmg or borla for me. I understand the headers and cam is a big difference but I know there's exhausts that sound a lot better than mine with out headers and cam

GMMG and Borla will be louder than what you have now, but will still sound mellow with cats. You could add a cutout to your current system and it would be just as loud or slightly louder than GMMG or Borla.
