New kid from Crosby Tx. New to Fbody but not LS engines
How y'all doing? I just picked up a black A4 Trans Am with 148k miles. Car runs great and looks great for its age.
I've been around LS engines for about 4 years now.
My last vehicle (extended cab 97 c1500) had an lm7 with .030 milled 799's, NNBS pickup intake manifold (same as trailblazer SS intake) 92mm cable TB, TR220 Cam, longtubes and a 3200 circle D stall converter, my best recorded pass was a 13.40 at 101.97 with 3.42 gears and a pass of 12.98 with 4.10 gears that was never recorded..
is a video of the truck at the Houston performance truck shootout
As of right now i'm looking to get the ls1 rebuilt and slap on a set of 799's or 243's with a TSP or TR 228 cam and a 3600 stall..
also if anyone has a write up on pulling the engine from the TOP of the car please provide a link!
