Default New guy on the block -cobalt ss LS2 drivetrain conversion

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. Looks like this is a good community to be a part of. Little bit about me, I'm a GTO (parts car) and a chevy cobalt ss owner. Currently im doing a rwd conversion +LS2 motor swap. The plan is for the car to be a street/strip car. I've been tracking my progress on a website i've been building, and hope ita going to bring some tips and tricka i've learned along the way. I know the stiff i'm doing was very hard to find on the interweb, so hopefully compiling everything the way I am will help people in the future.

Please check out the site, its a good read!

Cool project. I just sold my GTO but always thought the SS was an under appreciated car. I know the Colbalt weighs about 3,000 pounds, the GTO about 3,800. What to you expect the Cobalt to weigh when you're done?
