Exclamation Noobie w/85 Cutlass SBC 355

Hello everyone i am new to this forum
i am from windsor ontario and i drive a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon
it originally came with a chevy 305 and just this past summer i built a chevy 355 to replace it.

Started off with a 350 block with 4-bolt mains and a 2-pc rear main seal dated from 1985. It came out of a pickup. The only parts I carried over into the build were the block itself (after being hot tanked and bored 0.30" over, the crank (after grinding and polishing), the connecting rods, main caps and ignition system. Everything else was replaced with new parts.

Pistons: Sealed Power Digital Diamond Series Flat-Top 30-over w/ moly rings
Camshaft: Comp Cams Hi-Energy 268 Hydraulic Flat-tappet Single-pattern Cam (218*/218* duration @0.050, 0.302"/0.302" lobe lift, 110* LSA)
Valvetrain: Comp Cams Lifters, Pushrods, Guideplates, Valvesprings/Retainers/Locks
Rockers: JEGS 50-Series Gold Aluminum full roller 1.6:1 Ratio
Heads: World Products S/R Torquer Cast Iron 67cc with 2.02/1.60 Manley valves and Felpro Positive valve seals
Intake: JEGS 331 Champion Series High-rise Dual-plane aluminum (Square-bore)
Carb: Edelbrock 1406 Performer Series 600CFM Vac-Secondaries Electric-Choke
Sparkplugs: AC Delco
Distributor: Stock HEI Delco (from the 305)

Thats a little bit about my car, As for myself im just an average Steve with a passion for muscle cars and anything GM. I am also a welder and can weld just about anything! My girlfriend drives a 2010 Camaro RS and I have a 140lb mastiff named "Chevy"
