I have been thinking about swapping my stock ls1 out of my 99 Camaro for a ls6. the current ls6 im currently looking at is $2500 needs an intake, an oil pan, rocker covers, and the fuel system. opinions please and what do I need to watch out for?

Don't do it. It's way to expensive for an incomplete ls6. You're way better off putting those 2 grand on your ls1 and pocketing the extra 500 bucks

Be a good deal if you could get it about $2,000 and if it's a 02-04 ls6 or the the caddy ls6. Full weight with decent bolt-ons it should run high 11's . Real good/full bolt-ons and some weight reductionreduction it can go way faster and drive like stock.
