Hi from western Ky Just wanted to say "Hi" to y'all. I am Mike from far west Kentucky. This is my first LS car. Mainly my car workld revolves around second generation Trans Ams and S197 Mustangs. Our newest car is one we first sptted last fall at the Pigeon Forge Grand Rod Run. We tried to talk to the owners (as it was for sale) but couldn't really get much from them. Turns out they had already tentatively struck a deal earlier that day but were keeping their options open just in case. The car caught my wife's eye sitting across the road. It took us over an hour- yes, an hour- to get turned around in the traffic and get back to the car. BTW- the car is a 1998 WS6 Sport Gold Metallic. Anyway- the next day the car had "sold" on it. Move ahead 3 months. Robbie (aka 97ramsst) who I see is a member here, knew we liked that car. He was contacted by the buyer about it. He called me and told me he was going to buy it and he gave me first chance at it. So we now have our first modern T/A to go with our '78 T/A. 1 of 26 WS6 SGM A4's built, with an interesting history. It was some sort of GM exec test car that came with a GM log book to document any problems with the car for the design team. Luckily the book had no notes describing any problems LOL.
