Sweden Just new to this forum, or actually I have been here reading a lot lately. I have finally the money to by myself my own LS1. It will be a 98-02. I really love those cars.

Unfortunately, yes we do. But there are sometimes ways to go around it. You can often change, brakes and handling without any problems. The problem is to give more power to the engine. I don't know all the rules tho. But I'm learning more each day.
How is it in your country?

In the States inspections vary with location. Some places have just emissions and some include a mechanical safety inspection. The type of emissions inspection varies too. We left California to get away from their regulation of so many things. In our state there aren’t any inspections.

In north Arkansas, we have a mild winter. Could be 20 F one day and 65 F two days later. Summer is a little warm, 85 to 95 is common. Last year we had a lot of days over 100 F. My wife’s Camaro has a 6-71 and it was not too happy when it was 106 last August. When I lived in Chicago I parked my fun cars from December to March. Lots of salt up there.

I see, we also have a lot of salt on the road in the winter which is both good and bad. good to have good roads but is terrible for the cars! If people just could drive after the conditions on the roads we wouldn't need salt. But stress and getting to end destination fast is what people wants.
But we have good summers so I don't complain. And also nice winters and then you can drive snowmobiles which is also fun

I do live in the land of "year round summer" I live in Sunny Southern Califorina and love it! In the winter you can go surfing in the morning and snow boarding in the evening. I live 30 mins from the beach and 1 1/2 hours from the mountains and deserts. Shorts and T-shirts are all that I own...lol Car shows every weekend, cruz nights and drag strips. We got it all.
You should come visit some time. You would love it

Sounds to good to be true 
I have always wanted to go to the states sometime, a dream me and my brother has is to cross the country on harleys, from New york to Las vegas. but now he has 2 children so it is not so easy any more. But someday we will
I also go snowboarding but not so much any more because of my bad knee,. old sports injury but I can snowboard for a while a least. But i'm not doing any tricks (never was good at it anyway) no more but it is still great fun
You should have said that I could visit sooner but now this years travel is already decided. Spain in april and a 12 night Mediterranean cruise is booked in september.
When is the best time to visit California? Just out of curiosity?
