New to the forum. Just picked up a 99 RS with a blown 3800 and a soggy 4L60E. I've got 75 miles on rebuilt motor and trans - so far so good.
Also own a 55 Nomad (hence the name) that is a long term project but hope to have it driveable this summer. I haven't had a Camaro since my 69 and forgot how much I like them.

I am trying to find a passenger side ground effect for my red 99 RS. I bought the car with it missing and can't seem to find an oem piece. Please PM if you have one for sale (I can't yet access the classified page) - color not important.
Thanks, Jim.

Welcome to the forums from another Chev-o-holic

Just as an FYI, the RS model designation was actually only available in 96, 97, 01, and 02. 98-00 would have simply been option code Y3F ("Sport Appearance Package" or "SAP") which was available on any V6 (without Y87) or Z28 Camaro (also 01/02 without RS package). You can use the side skirts from any 96-02 with the ground effects.

As an aside, the front pieces have been discontinued and fetch a pretty penny -- so don't lose them! You may also want to take a look in the Appearance/Detailing forum as people often removed their SAP from Z28's.

Lastly, one could pick them up over the parts counter as the GM Performance Parts "F1" package.
